"First Folio!" Family Day

In celebration of First Folio! The Book That Gave Us Shakespeare, on display Jan. 4 through Jan. 30, the Sam Noble Museum in partnership with the University of Oklahoma English Department, College of Arts & Sciences’ Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies and University Libraries’ Special Collections will host several programs available to the public.

This event includes a variety of entertaining activities, designed to bring Shakespeare, his plays, and his period to life. Enjoy performances, Scavenger-hunts, Shakespeare coloring stations, ruff-making activities,  costume stations and more!

The following programs are scheduled in the Kerr Auditorium:

2:00-2:30: “Stage-Fighting” by Matthew Ellis (Drama) and Kenneth Hodges (English),

                  3:00-4:00: "The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet" (Drama Dept. production)
