"First Folio!" Living Shakespeare

In celebration of First Folio! The Book That Gave Us Shakespeare, on display Jan. 4 through Jan. 30, the Sam Noble Museum in partnership with the University of Oklahoma English Department, College of Arts & Sciences’ Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies and University Libraries’ Special Collections will host several programs available to the public.

"Living Shakespeare" is a panel discussion open to the public in the Kerr Auditorium with introductions by Joyce Coleman, director, Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies, College of Arts & Sciences, OU.

The panel includes:

Kenneth Hodges (English), “Medieval Shakespeare”

Jim Yoch (English, emeritus), “Shakespearean Opera”

Sara Coodin (Letters), “Shakespeare on the Yiddish Stage”

Amrita Sen (OKCU, English), “Shakespeare and the East Indies”

Followed by Q&A

Complimentary catered reception in lobby at 6:30 p.m.
