Guest speaker, Ian Thompson, director of the Historic Preservation Department, Choctaw tribal historic preservation officer and archeologist, and NAGPRA specialist will discuss traditional Choctaw foods and land management. This fall speaker series is sponsored by the Cleveland County Chapter of the Oklahoma Anthropological Society and the Sam Noble Museum. In conjunction with the museum’s current exhibit, Collision & Creation: Indigenous Arts of the Americas, 1890-2015.

Complimentary reception at 6:30 p.m.

Lecture begins at 7 p.m.
