Homeschoolers! Come experience a day of learning and exploration at the Sam Noble Museum. Homeschool students and groups are invited to participate in hands-on, educational science programs focusing on discovering the natural world.

Grades K-2: From the Earth

Natural resources are things we use every day! What kinds of things do you use and where do they come from? We will find out in this fun, hands-on program.

Grades 3-6: Rockin’ Rocks

Did you know that not every rock is the same? In this program, students will learn the difference between minerals and rocks, learn about rocks as resources and learn how sedimentary rocks are formed.

Grades 7-12: Geology Lab

In this hands-on laboratory, students will investigate the rock cycle by “making” sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks, and then experience the processes of erosion, sedimentation and soil formation.
