The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation, and education.
If you’ve ever wanted to see a living dinosaur, it’s not too late! The birds we see every day are descended from prehistoric giants, and if it sounds unbelievable, we’ll show you how it happened! Come spend a morning discovering local birds at Saxon Park with Dr. Jeremy Ross of the Oklahoma Biological Survey as he leads you on a birding adventure. Dive deeper into the science of how dinosaurs became birds through a brief lecture from Dr. Ross, then explore our museum specimens. This program is suited for ages 14+. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
