The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation, and education.
Put your puzzle skills to the test and step into the shoes of a fossil preparator as you attempt to reconstruct your own fossil cast! Learn the skills and techniques that professional preparators use to piece fossils back together for the research, education, and exhibition of extinct animals. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of our fossil preparation laboratory and see our current projects! Can’t finish your puzzle before the end of the event? No problem! Take your project home with you! This program is suited for ages 12+. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
