Public Program: The Amazing World of Bats

July 17, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm

Join us for a day of uncovering the unique world of bats! WildCare, a local animal rehabilitation center, will be on site to answer any questions you may have about helping injured animals. Do you have questions that you have always wanted to ask a mammal expert? Well, we’ll have those too! Dr. Brandi Coyner, mammalogy curatorial associate, will be answering questions and unveiling the threats that bats face. Through crafts and activities, you’ll also have the chance to learn about how bats hunt and what they eat! This bilingual (English and Spanish) program will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All activities are free with general admission.
