Reserve Your Birthday Party at the Sam Noble Museum!

Birthdays at the Museum 

Are you wild about dinosaurs, animals or exploring? Spend your birthday at the Sam Noble Museum! Let us take care of the set-up, clean-up and entertainment as you spend an unforgettable day at the museum with your friends and family. 

Availability 

Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | 12:30-2:30 p.m. | 3- 5 p.m. 

Sunday: 1-3 p.m. | 3:30-5:30 p.m. 

Birthday parties are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and availability is limited. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.

Changes and Refunds 

Payment is required at the time of the reservation and cannot be refunded. Cancellations made more than two weeks before the scheduled reservation date may reschedule. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the reservation date will forfeit the payment.  

Spike’s Birthday Party Package: $275 Members/$300 Non-Members 

Spike’s Birthday Party Package includes: 

  • Museum admission for up to 20 total youth and adults (museum members not counted towards total). 
  • Room use, tables and chairs for 2 hours. 
  • Your choice of colored paper products, table covers and décor. 
  • A dinosaur-themed coloring activity for the group.
  • Personalized ‘Happy Birthday!’ slide displayed on the museum monitors the day of your party.
  • Birthday host to facilitate visit.
  • T-shirt for the birthday child.
  • Set-up, breakdown and cleanup.
  • E-vites (will be emailed to you with your party details).

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES are available to make your day easier!

Additional Guests – $9 Adult, $11 Youth 

Additional guests may be added when you book your birthday party reservation or up to two weeks before your party date. 

Party Favors

You can also add Party Favors* for each child. Party Favor bags include a Dino Mask and lots of other Dino goodies! Party favor bags can be added for $2.50 per bag.  

Add a $5 Spike’s Card** (redeemable in Excavations, the Museum Store) to your party favors for $5.00 per card. 

*Party decorations and favor bag designs may vary based on availability. 

**Spike’s Cards hold no value, are a one-time use card, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and expire one (1) year from the date of the birthday party. 

Party Activities

You can choose to add activities to your Party Package. These activities are designed to engage children aged 3 to 12 years, and last approximately 30 minutes each. Note: The activity will start at the beginning of your reserved time and late arrivals will join the activity in progress. 

Party Activity Option 1 – $50

  • Pick-a-Puppet: Your child can pick a dinosaur or fox puppet to create and color! You and your group will have 30 minutes of private access to the discovery room to play, create, color and construct your puppets!

Party Activity Option 2 – $25

  • Gallery Activity: Your choice of a dinosaur or fox themed gallery activity. Follow your birthday guide to the correct gallery for both kids and parents to explore. Find the answers to our gallery activities to become official museum explorers!

Food and Decorations 

You may use our catering options or bring your own food! The museum has some restrictions on food and decorations that can be brought into the building. Please review our Birthday Party Guidelines for more food and decoration information.

The Sandwich Package: $200
3-inch Hoagie-Style Sandwiches
Quantity: 10 full-sized sandwiches or 20 half sandwiches

  • You choose the number of turkey, ham, chicken salad or veggie sandwiches. 
  • Chips included

The Pizza Package: $200
12-inch Thin-Crust Pizzas
Quantity: 10 pizzas (additional pizzas $16.50 each)

  • You choose the number of cheese or pepperoni pizzas

Add drinks to any package! We offer tea (sweetened and unsweetened), lemonade and water. Water is complimentary. For $1 per person, minimum order of 10.  

Cupcakes: $50 

Dinosaur-themed cupcakes in either chocolate or vanilla flavors.
