Family programs are designed for children and their family adults to investigate the wonderful world of science together.
Don’t miss out! Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Please pay and register online or contact the education department by calling (405) 325-1008. Participants are required to bring any forms sent via confirmation email on or before the first day of the program. All cancellations must be received 10 business days prior to the start of the program for a refund or transfer to another program.

Aquarium Family Field Trip
Saturday, November 3, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To celebrate our exciting Megalodon exhibit, we are taking a trip to a world underwater! We are taking a special trip to the Oklahoma Aquarium to get a close-up look at sharks, sea turtles, aquatic animals of Oklahoma and more. Explore diverse marine life, complete fun challenges and watch real sharks swim, all in one day! Participants will be transported in museum vans and car seats will be provided upon request. Aquarium admission is included. Lunches may be purchased on-site in the Coral Reef Café or brought from home. This field trip is for children 5 and up with an adult. Deadline to register is Oct. 24.

Family Invertebrate Fossil Field Trip
Friday, April 26, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Sam Noble Museum invites you to join invertebrate paleontology curator Steve Westrop, Ph.D., for an exciting journey into Oklahoma’s Paleozoic past. Explore life in Oklahoma’s ancient oceans on Friday evening with a close-up look at some of the museum’s finest invertebrate specimens. On Saturday morning, we will depart from the museum at 9 a.m. and travel in university vans to the site where you will find a variety of marine fossils that you can take home. Bring a sack lunch, snacks, comfortable shoes and plenty of water. This field trip is for children 7 and up with an adult. Deadline to register is April 16.
