Do memberships renew automatically?
No, memberships do not renew automatically by default. However, if you would like to set up automatic renewal, you can select the auto-renewal option during your online membership registration, or contact our membership team by email at members.samnoblemuseum@ou.edu or by phone at 405-325-2383.
Can I purchase a gift membership for someone?
Yes you can. To purchase a gift membership (new or renewal), you can simply use our online membership registration form, and select the option for gift memberships. Write “Gift” in the field directly underneath, and on subsequent pages you will have the opportunity to list your recipient’s name and contact information.
We will mail the recipient’s membership card to the address provided. We will also include a card letting them know who purchased the membership for them.
If you’d like to share your gift straight away, you can print and complete a free Gift Membership Announcement and deliver it personally. The recipient may use their membership benefits immediately by showing any digital receipt or proof of purchase.
When does my membership expire?
Memberships expire one calendar year from the date they are processed into our system, which can be anywhere from one to 14 business days from the time of purchase. Members will be contacted with a brief reminder when a membership is due to expire. If you would like to inquire about your specific expiration date, you may contact us at members.samnoblemuseum@ou.edu, ask our front desk staff or call 405-325-2383.
Can I renew my membership early?
Yes, if you choose to renew before your membership expires, we will add one year to your current expiration date. This ensures you do not lose any time on your membership.
How long does it take to receive my membership card in the mail?
Members will normally receive a membership card within 14 business days from the time of purchase. Please allow additional processing time during the holiday season.
Can I visit the museum before I’ve received my membership card?
Yes, you can provide the front desk staff with your receipt or membership confirmation email to use your free admission benefit at any time.
How do I update my contact information?

Can I renew my membership online?
Yes, you can complete our online membership registration form and based on your submitted name, address and contact information, an option will appear to select your existing membership account and renew it.
