The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation, and education.
The Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair is the largest event for linguistic diversity in the state. Hundreds of student speakers and learners of Native languages gather at the museum to perform in their Native languages and celebrate language diversity and cultural heritage. Participants take to the stage in live presentations of song, speech and story. Meanwhile, we display their poster art, films, books, cartoons and writing for all to see.
This event is free to the public, and the Sam Noble Museum will offer complimentary general admission on April 3 and 4.
