The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation, and education.
Join us this summer at the Sam Noble Museum and experience science first-hand through a variety of discovery-based programs. Each week-long, two-hour Summer Explorers program (children ages 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12) features a different natural or cultural history theme.
THIS WEEK:
Pond Explorer (Age 6-7) – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Dragonflies, tadpoles, and water striders…oh my! Find out what plants and animals live in the water as we explore different ponds around Norman.
Slime & Scales (Age 8-9) – 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Snakes, lizards, frogs, and toads! We’ll observe and study scaley and slimy animals in their natural habitats and learn how to safely handle them.
Cost: $80 (Member youth); $100 (Non-member youth).
Required program forms will be sent via confirmation email.
