Registration for Summer Explorers 2026 is Now Open!
Calling all young explorers! At the Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, summer means one thing: exploration and discovery! Each week‑long, three‑hour session of Summer Explorers is led by experienced museum educators and features unique scientific themes packed with hands‑on activities, experiments, and plenty of opportunities to discover something new.
Camps are segmented by theme, week and age group, with separate sessions for ages 6 – 8 and 9 – 11. Each weekly session is $150 and early registration is encouraged to avoid waitlists. Ready to sign up? Click the link below or browse our Events Calendar for more information about weekly themes throughout the summer months.
Cancellations must be received 10 business days prior to the start of the program for a full refund. If a program is cancelled by the museum, you will receive a notice prior to the start date and a full refund will be issued.
In the event that a program reaches its maximum occupancy, parents can apply to join a waitlist by calling (405) 325-7977.

T-Shirts
Every Summer Explorers camper gets a free camp T‑shirt to commemorate their adventure. Be sure to choose your preferred size when you register.

Off-Site Travel
Some Summer Explorers Camp sessions will travel to nearby parks and ponds to explore the great outdoors. Booster seats are provided for children 9 and under and are available for children over the age of 9 upon request of parents/guardians. Participants should be dressed to get wet and dirty, and must bring a water bottle.
