The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation, and education.
Join us this summer at the Sam Noble Museum and experience science first-hand through a variety of discovery-based programs. Each week-long, two-hour Summer Explorers program (children ages 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12) features a different natural or cultural history theme.
THIS WEEK:
Waterways (Age 8-9) – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Weird and wonderful creatures live in the water all around us. We’ll explore local ponds, streams, and rivers to learn more about them.
Dino Adventures (Age 6-7) – 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dig into the past with us as we learn about some of Oklahoma’s oldest inhabitants. We’ll uncover clues about trilobites, dinosaurs, and more!
Wild About Art (Age 10-12) – 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Nature comes in a variety of colors, shapes, and patterns. We’ll use them as inspiration to explore the natural world through drawing, painting, sculpting, and more!
Cost: $80 (Member youth); $100 (Non-member youth).
Required program forms will be sent via confirmation email.
