Kai joined the Herpetology Department/Siler Lab as a Masters Student in the Summer of 2015. He previously graduated from Washington State University and has research interests in taxonomy, phylogeography and mechanisms of speciation of East and Southeast Asian herps. In fall 2017, Kai defended his MS and transitioned into a Ph.D.
