Collection Snapshot:
Our collection distribution of plant macrofossils, palynological slides and residues, coal balls and coal ball peels, microfossils in micromounts, minerals, rocks, and meteorites, is worldwide in scope. However, our primary strengths are specimens of plant fossils and microfossils from rocks in the south-central United States, especially Pennsylvanian plant fossils in eastern Oklahoma (where they parallel the Carboniferous outcrops).
