Stay Safe with Spike’s 5 Health and Safety Tips
Welcome to the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History. To our museum members and visitors, thank you for your continued support! The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is dedicated to protecting our museum members, visitors and staff from the spread of COVID-19. For the safety and consideration of yourself and others, we ask that all visitors and guests help us keep the museum safe by following these simple guidelines:
Spike wants you to feel your best before entering the museum.
Do you have a fever, lack of smell or taste, cough or other COVID-19-related symptoms? Have you come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19? While we would love to have you here, we want you to feel your best. Please postpone your museum visit until you are feeling better!
It’s not Mesozoic to wear a mask.
For your safety and ours, visitors ages three (3) years-old and up are required to wear a mask. Our staff will be wearing them too!
Keep it clean like a Cotylorhynchus.
Don’t forget to wash your paws and claws frequently! Our hand sanitizing stations are available to all visitors upon entering and exiting the museum and throughout the galleries.
Spike says, “Social distancing is super!”
Don’t forget to stay with your herd! Follow the new floor markings and signage to ensure proper social distancing of at least six (6) feet or more between groups.
High fives are fun, but how about a Woolly Mammoth Wave instead?
We are so happy you are here! You may see barriers in between our staff and visitors; these are for your safety. We love our high fives and greeting our visitors, but you’ll catch us doing the Woolly Mammoth Wave instead.
Please follow the directions of museum staff, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
We want everyone to have the safest, most enjoyable visit possible!
